ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action and dispose of the petitioner complaint dated 22.01.2026.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 3rd respondent had filed a complaint before the 2nd respondent against one Christhu Dhas. Following investigation, the petitioner's name was added as a witness. He further submitted that the petitioner was not present at the scene of occurrence, had stayed away, and therefore cannot act as a witness in this case. Accordingly, he seeks to have the petitioner's name removed from the charge sheet as a witness.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has already been filed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also noting that it falls within the jurisdiction of the competent court, the petitioner cannot seek to have his representation considered for removal of his name as a witness from the charge sheet at this stage. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the competent court for the relief sought.

5. With these observations, this writ petition (Criminal) is disposed of.
