ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.It is not in doubt that the writ petitioners are entitled to claim the benefit "Housing for All Scheme" a sum of Rs.2,10,000/- as subsidy to the eligible persons, who build a new house on their land or to repair the existing house. In this case, it appears that the writ petitioners have been making claim under different schemes. It is not permissible. At this stage, the petitioners' counsel submitted that the writ petitioners would confine their claim to benefit under "Housing for All Scheme" alone. The petitioners are directed to submit an affidavit before the second respondent. The second respondent on being satisfied with the eligibility requirements and other norms shall disburse the subsidy amount to the writ petitioners without any delay. It is made clear that the second respondent will have to stick to the rules and procedures. The only direction that is given is to fast track the entire process. It is made clear that after the petitioners approach the second respondent, the entire process should be concluded within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
