Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to dispense with petitioner's personal appearance before this Hon'ble court in respect of W.P.No.18082 of 2018 pending in Hon'ble court and thus render justice.
Prayer in WP(MD). 18082/ 2018 :
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to build Mens Hostel to the students of the Government Law College, Thiruchirappalli, Trichy District within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.N.SHANMUGASELVAM, Additional Government Pleader for the petitioner and of Mr.R.ALAGUMANI, Advocate for R1, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to dispense with the personal appearance of the Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department. Since there was non compliance of the order passed by this Court on or before 03 December, 2018 we directed the personal appearance of the Principal Secretary today. The Principal Secretary, on the very same day passed an order rejecting the request of the erstwhile land owner.
Since the order has been complied with, the appearance of the Principal Secretary is dispensed with.
