ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondent to disburse all annual increment arrears from the date of his appointment (i.e.,) from 08.11.1993 to May 2013 in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.80, dated 02.03.2016, by considering his representation dated 25.01.2019 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.S.C. Herold Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. V. Anand, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondent.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.01.2019, on merits and as per law and also in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.80, dated 02.03.2016 and pass necessary orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
