This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2019 in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The object behind the petitioner is to seek a direction to the Police to register a case on the allegation that the petitioner has been cheated by one Veerakumar.

5.A Division Bench of this Court in the case of G.Prabakaran vs. The Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur District and another reported in [2018-2-L.W. Crl.489], has already decided that before approaching the Court for registering the first information report, the petitioner needs to exhaust the statutory provisions embodied in the Criminal Procedure Code.

6.Hence, the petitioner is directed to approach the Superintendent of Police or give a private complaint to the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate.
