O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.1298 of 2012 on the file of the first respondent.

2. The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.1298 of 2012 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. The said crime has been registered based on the complaint given by the second respondent, who is none other than the husband of the petitioner herein. Now, to quash the aforesaid First Information Report, the present petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that already the complaint has been investigated by the first respondent police. Since the second respondent/defacto complainant did not co-operate with the investigation and he has also not produced the alleged forged document, the first respondent police has referred the complaint as 'action dropped' and also filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Trichy, on 19.01.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the fact that already the complaint has been closed as 'action dropped' and final report has been filed closing the complaint, no further order is required in the present petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
