O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2025 and 24.02.2026 respectively, in accordance with law to classify the petitioner's land in S.No.240/2 of an extent of 0.95.0 ares based on Darkas Patta No.371/1984 dated 16.4.1984 and thereby issue suitable directions to the respondents 2 to 4 herein for granting individual patta to the petitioner herein.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, submits that the 2/5
petitioners' representation dated 24.02.2026 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2026 on merits and in accordance with law, and to pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry. The first respondent is further directed to afford a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. There shall be no order as to costs.
