ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A7, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(ii)(B), 25, 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.330 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 08.12.2022, the respondent police was doing patrol duty. At that time, the accused came in two motor bikes bearing Reg.No.TN 60 V 9988 and TN 60 AK 2920 and the respondent police stopped them and searched them. On search, it was found that they were in illegal possession of 12 kg of ganja. A1 confessed that he and A2 are said to have purchased 6 kg ganja from A6 and A3 to A5 purchased 6 kg ganja from A8 and the petitioner herein. Hence, the case.

3.Heard both sides and perused the materials available in records.

CRL OP(MD)No.5041 of 2023 4.It is seen that the petitioner and other accused were in illegal possession of 12 kgs of ganja. That apart, the petitioner is having four previous cases. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
