The petitioner seeks production of the detenue, namely, Balathandayuthapani, aged 50 years, who is his brother.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that the detenue was taken away by the third respondent and he has been admitted to Kilpauk Medical College Hospital at Chennai, for treatment.

5. It is stated that he is undergoing treatment at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, Chennai. The hospital records have also been placed before us. Now it is stated that the respondent Police has traced the detenue. It is for the Police to continue the investigation in the manner known to law and proceed accordingly. We see no necessity to keep this Habeas Corpus Petition pending. Therefore, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
