ORDER

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the orders of this Court dated 19.12.2024 made in W.P(MD) No.30866 of 2024, wherein, this Court has permitted the petitioners to submit objections to the panel as and when it is prepared.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, panel was not prepared and it was not published. The seven of them who are now promoted have not passed 10th standard after getting prior permission from the Department. Therefore, they are not qualified to be included in the panel and promoted.

3. Per contra, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that all of them have passed 10th standard atleast three years prior to the preparation of the panel. The name of the first petitioner is in seniority No.90 and the name of the second petitioner is in seniority No.111 and therefore, as of now, they are not eligible to be considered for inclusion in the panel.

4. In case, if the petitioners feels that the promoted candidates are not eligible to be included in the panel, they are at liberty to challenge the same, in the manner known to law.

5. With the above said observation, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
