Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the detenu namely Uma, Wife of Sundarrajan, aged about 28 years and minor Swathi, Daughter of Sundarrajan, aged about 8 years before this Court and set them at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) As per order passed in Crl.M.P(MD)No.2448 of 2016, H.C.P(MD) No.1799 of 2015 is advanced today.

2. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu namely Uma, aged 28 years and minor Swathi, aged 8 years, wife and daughter of the petitioner.

3. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

4. The second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Thogaimalai Police Station has produced the detenu and they have been identified by the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
