PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and for his construction work in his property on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2023. O R D E R

This Criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and his family by considering petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2023.

2. Even though the petitioner has been granted with the temporary injunction in the civil process, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that police protection must be granted to the life and limp of the petitioner and for putting up the construction.

3. For putting up the construction, no police protection can be provided. The petitioner can approach the concerned civil Court for appropriate remedy in this matter. So far as the threat to the petitioner's life is concerned, even the enquiry has been undertaken with regard to his representation, he did not participate in the above said enquiry.

4. The petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent herein. The second respondent may summon the counter parties and as well 2/4

as the petitioner herein and after assessing the ground situation, further order may be passed on its own merits.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
