Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent herein to grant permission to conduct temple festival of Sri Arulmighu Perumal Samy Kovil, Gopalapuram Village, Appayanaickenpatti Post, Virudhunagar Taluk and District on 16.04.2022 and 17.04.2022 within the stipulated period, which this Court may deem fit and proper and thus render justice. ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to grant permission to conduct temple festival in Sri Arulmighu Perumal Samy Kovil, Gopalapuram Village, Appayanaickenpatti Post, Virudhunagar Taluk and District on 16.04.2022 and 17.04.2022.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the fifth respondent would submit that already there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD).No.6057 of 2022 is a dispute between the petitioner and the fifth respondent. In this regard, last year a peace committee meeting was also conducted by the second respondent.
3.Heard the learned Counsel for respective parties. 4.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct a peace committee meeting after issuance of notice to the petitioner group and the fifth respondent group and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law on or before 16.04.2022. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
