Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the first respondent to expedite the appeal pending in Na.Ka.No.6753/2021 filed by the petitioner under Section 12 of Patta Pass Book Act and pass orders within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner expeditiously.
2. Aggrieved by the cancellation of the patta in favour of the petitioner and the issuance of patta in favour of the second respondent, the petitioner has filed the statutory appeal under the Patta Passbook Act before the first respondent. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the said statutory appeal which was filed on 25.10.2021.
3. Heard Mr.N.Sathish Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's statutory appeal is disposed of expeditiously, after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD).No.5991 of 2022 affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the second respondent and any other necessary party, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire.

Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal filed under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act in Na.Ka.No.6753/2021, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the second respondent and any other necessary party, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
