The petitioner has come forward with this petition, praying to direct the 1st respondent herein to Transfer the investigation in Cr.No.427 of 2015 on the file of the 3rd respondent to the file of the 2nd respondent herein, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 17.12.2015.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Government Advocate (crl.side) for the State would submit that since the allegation is against the Inspector of Police, SIPCOT Police Station, Thoothukudi, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi Rural Sub-division, Thoothukudi, would conduct the investigation under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi District.
