Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the body of the detenu namely Sasikumar, Son of Kanthasamy, aged 33 years before this Court and set him at liberty. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the detenu by name Sasikumar.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the detenu has been arrested in connection with Crime No.160 of 2015 and in support of the contention urged on the side of the respondents, certified copy of remand report has been filed wherein it is stated that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with Crime No.160 of 2015 by the Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai.

3. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
