Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 26.03.2021 on merits and in accordance with law within the time as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a limited prayer to dispose of the petitioner's statutory appeal pending on the file of the respondent expeditiously.

2. The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is an innocuous one. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent or any other party, if the petitioner's statutory appeal filed on 26.03.2021 before the respondent is disposed of within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. Accordingly, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal filed under the Patta Passbook Act on 26.03.2021 within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties, whom the respondent deems fit to enquire.
