ORDER

The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2, to appoint the petitioner as a Sweeper in the 2nd respondent's Municipality on compassionate ground, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard M/s.A.Rajini, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that pursuant to the request of the petitioner for compassionate appointment, the same having been considered and rejection order was passed and a copy of the said order has already been served on the petitioner. In fact, interestingly, the said order has also been under challenge in W.P(MD)No.12035 of 2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. When that being the position, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be granted as it has already become infructuous.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs.
