ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Latha, aged about 27 years, daughter of Katheresan.
2. The petitioner is present and she has been identified by her counsel.
3. The second respondent viz., The Inspector of Police, Irukkankudi Police Station, Virudhunagar District has produced the detenu.
4. It is stated in the petition that the detenu is under the illegal custody of her parents.

5. The parents of the detenu are present and they have been enquired into and ultimately stated that they have not put the detenu under illegal custody.
6. Considering the aforesaid circumstances and also considering the locus standi of the petitioner, the relief sought for in the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition deserves to be dismissed.
7. In fine, this Habeas Corpus Petition deserves dismissal and accordingly is dismissed.
