ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2.Taking into account the nature of relief to be granted in this petition, notice to R4 to R6 is dispensed with. 1/3

3.The petitioner states that she had given a complaint on 24.04.2020 to the second respondent. The petitioner is a landlady, while R5 and R6 are her tenants. The petitioner alleges that she was attacked by R5 and R6.

4.The petitioner has made certain allegations and that is why, she wants the case to be handled by somebody else other than the Devakottai Town Police Station.

5.I consciously refrain from going into the allegations made by the petitioner herein. However, taking note of the submissions made by the petitioner's counsel, I direct the first respondent to look into the matter and entrust the investigation with some other police official. The first respondent will take action as per law within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
