RESPONDENT Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying this Hon'ble Court to direct the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai to dispose the case in Special C.C.No.6/2014 expeditiously within time limit. Order : This Petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court and the requisition letter submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai vide the letter in D.No.656/2018 dated 07.03.2018 appeared of Mr.T.ANTONY ARUL RAJ, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.K.

RAMAKRISHNAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, this court made the following order:- By order dated 15.09.2016, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17041 of 2016, this Court had directed the trial Court to dispose of Special C.C.No.6 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. The learned Trial Judge, Pudukkottai, has addressed a communication dated 07.03.2018 seeking six months extension of time for disposal of the case on the ground that some more witnesses have to be examined and there is no full time Deputy Legal Advisor to conduct the case.

3. Accepting the submission, six months time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for disposing of Special C.C.No.6 of 2014 on the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai.
