O R D E R

Ms.S.Dhanalakshmi, Sub-Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Madurai City is present in Court today. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that, on the complaint lodged by one Sathyavathi, the police have registered a case in Cr.No.7 of 2017 on 02.04.2017 for the offences under Sections 496, 406, 312 and 506(i) I.P.C. against this petitioner.

2. Since a regular case has been registered against this petitioner, no direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be granted in the light of the law laid down by this Court in Dorand v. The Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil [2016(2) CTC 286]. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
