ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 21(d), (e), (f), (h) and Sections 51, 53 of Tamilnadu Forest Act and Sections 9, 21(1), 27(1), 29 of Indian Wild Life Act, 1972, in WLOR NO.1 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The averment in the First Information Report indicates that this petitioner has pouched deer in the reserved forest and was in possession of deer meats and its carcass in his house. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking note of the fact that that the petitioner has committed the offence under Indian Wild Life Act and absconding, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
