O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus, seeking a direction against the respondents, particularly, the second respondent/Tahsildar to transfer patta in the name of petitioner for the land in S.F.No.127/3B, 127/3D, 177/5, 177/10, 147/3A situated at Poovalur Village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District. The petitioner had given a representation on 06.02.2023.

2.The title of the lands stood in the name of father of the petitioner, Manickam. The father and mother of the petitioner have died. The sister of the petitioner has also given consent for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner herein.

3.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to file an appropriate application through on-line. If that is done, the second respondent is directed to examine the issue. If he entertains any doubt, issue notice to the petitioner and after obtaining clarification, orders will have to be passed, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of the application filed by the petitioner through on-line.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
