This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 and 2 to give police protection for life and limb of the petitioner based on the representation dated 23.02.2024.
2. According to the petitioner, he received life threat from the respondents no.3 to 7 in respect of property dispute and thereby, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents no.1 and 2 dated 23.02.2024, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that no any representation was received from the petitioner and if the petitioner give a fresh representation, they they will consider the same in accordance with law. Page No. 2 of 4
4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents no.3 to 7 inclined to pass orders in this petition.
5. Since the respondents no.1 and 2 denied the receipt of representation of the petitioner dated 23.02.2024 and the petitioner has also not filed any proof to show that the respondent police have received the representation, it is for the petitioner to approach the respondents no.1 and 2 with fresh representation. If any such representation filed by the petitioner, the 2nd respondents shall consider and dispose of the same after affording an opportunities to both the parties. In view of the same, this criminal original petition is closed.
