PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the files of 3rd respondent pertaining to its proceedings in Memo No. 00846/235/M184/2024, dated 19.02.2024 and the consequential order passed by the 2nd respondent bearing Memo No.067877/G.53/G.532/2024-2 dated 08.03.2024 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to continue as Assistant Administrative Officer, Generation Circle, Tirunelveli.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by an Assistant Administrative Officer of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited, Tirunelveli, challenging his order of transfer from NCES, Tirunelveli to Generation Circle, Tirunelveli.

2.A perusal of the impugned transfer order reveals that both the offices are located within the same campus and therefore, the petitioner would not be put any prejudice by way of transfer order. In case, if the petitioner wishes to go back to NCES, Tirunelveli, he is at liberty to give a representation to the 2/5

concerned authorities. On receipt of the same, the authorities are at liberty to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law. 3.With the above said observations, writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
