ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner/accused, prays for grant of anticipatory bail under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. for the offences punishable under Sections 392 r/w 397, 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.53 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 20.04.2014, the petitioner along with other accused by showing knife, has extorted Rs.600/- from the de facto complainant and snatched his chain and also caused injury to him. Some of the accused were caught by the general public and handed over to the respondent Police. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that totally 16 previous cases are pending against the petitioner. He further submits that the case in S.C.No.168 of 2015 on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Devakottai, is at the stage of examination of Investigating Officer and the other witnesses have already been examined. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the above, this Court while dismissing the Criminal Original petition, directs the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Devakottai, to dispose of the case in S.C.No.168 of 2015 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
