For Respondent : Mr.R.Anandharaj, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime.No. 163 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 4(1) (aa) and 4(1-A) of TNP Act seeks anticipatory bail.

2. During the lock down period the police intercepted this petitioner on suspicion. They found the petitioner was in possession of 408 bottles of IMFL liquor.

4. Considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
