: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to attend the State PG course to be conducted by the third respondent and consider her candidature in accordance with her merit and prevailing reservation policy for admission.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to attend the State PG course to be conducted by the third respondent and consider her candidature in accordance with her merit and prevailing reservation policy for admission.

2.Heard Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 4.The petitioner has approached this Court straightway without even giving a representation to the respondents. In these circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- "the petitioner is directed to send a representation to the third respondent seeking permission to attend the counselling to be conducted by the third respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with the order passed by this Court and on receipt of such representation, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten days thereafter."
