O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Eraniel, to dispose of S.T.C.No.1001 of 2005. 2.According to the petitioner, S.T.C.No.1001 of 2005 is pending before the Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Eraniel, for more than 13 years. Therefore, he filed the present Criminal Original Petition for speedy disposal of the said case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that as of now, three witnesses have been examined on the side of the prosecution and it will take time to examine the other witnesses on the side of the prosecution.

4.Considering the fact that the case is of the year 2005 and also recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the learned Principal District Munsifcum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, to dispose of S.T.C.No.1001 of 2005, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
