O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition, alleging that his son Karthigeyan, aged 46 years, has been found missing from 01.08.2015 onwards.

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and also perused the records carefully.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that a case has been registered in respect of the same in Crime No.693 of 2015 and investigation is going on.

4.Having regard to the said submission, we are of the view that since there is no illegal detention, there is no scope to issue any direction as prayed for. Therefore, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, however, with the direction to the respondents to expedite the investigation.
