ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent and others attacked the petitioner and his family members and also tried to grab his property. In this regard, the petitioner made a representations to the respondent police on 10.03.2021, 17.03.2021 and 20.03.2021. Till date, the respondent police has not taken any steps and so, the petitioner filed the present petition before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4.According to the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the petitioner has not co-operated for enquiry and he may be directed to appear before the second respondent for enquiry and on his appearance, the second respondent is ready to consider the same on merits and pass orders.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5009 of 2021 Advocate (Criminal side), the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on his appearance, the second respondent shall consider the representation made by the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders and the third respondent may also be summoned, if any necessity arises and act depending of upon the out come of the enquiry made by the second respondent with the petitioner.

6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
