When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner against the third respondent, a petition enquiry was conducted, during which, the petitioner and the third respondent were enquired and their statements have been recorded. The petition enquiry has been closed as the parties appear to have arrived at a compromise. A copy of the closure report has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar. However, the police shall ensure that there is no further harassment to the petitioner from the third respondent in connection with the dispute at hand.
