*********** [Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the wife of one Mr.Maruthupandiyan, S/o.Pandian, aged about 32 years. According to the petitioner, Mr. Maruthupandiyan has been found missing from 01.02.2015. In respect of the same, the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.37 of 2015 for 'man missing'. The case is under investigation. While so, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. 2.We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and we have also perused the records carefully. 3.It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the second respondent has got information that Mr. Maruthupandian had illicit intimacy with a woman and he has gone on his own. He further submitted that the investigation is taken in a right direction and soon he would be located.
4.Having regard to the above submissions, we are inclined to dismiss this petition as there is no allegation of illegal detention and also the investigation is going on in a right direction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, however, it is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
