O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Suganthy, W/o Gopidoss, the respondent police registered a case in Cr.No.84 of 2017 on 14.03.2017 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) I.P.C., and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act against this petitioner and two others. While so, the petitioner has given a representation dated 23.01.2017 and also advocate notice dated 30.01.2017 and thereafter has come up with the above prayer.

2. The fact remains that the petitioner is an accused in Cr.No.84 of 2017 and this Court is of the view that in order to put spoke in the investigation of the case, the petitioner has come up with the theory that he is being threatened by the third respondent who is none other than the petitioner's own brother. Under such circumstances, no direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
