ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner, who was arrested on 30.08.2016 for offences punishable under Sections 7, 13(1)(d) r/w 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 in Crime No.11 of 2016 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner demanded bribe from the de facto complainant for issuing legal heir certificate.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side). 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond in a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge / Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thanjavur at Kumbakonam, and on condition that the petitioner shall report before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required.
