For Respondent : Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime no. 90 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A.1, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 4 (1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, in Crime No.90 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that A.2 in this case was arrested and still he is in custody and the chemical report is not yet received and the investigation is pending.

3. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

4. It is seen from the submissions that the First Information Report was registered on 29.03.2021 and the chemical examination of the liquor is not yet collected and the investigation is not completed.

5. In the above circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
