R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.

AND N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.

The petitioner seeks production of the person of her brother by name Anandh, son of late.Muthalagu, aged about 42 years.

2. Even according to the petitioner, her brother went for a job in the year 2010 and thereafter, he was not heard of. He did not come for the funeral of his father, who died in the year 2020. According to the petitioner, she lodged a complaint on 09.01.2021 and the respondent police have not taken any action.

3. As it could be seen from the affidavit filed in support of this Habeas Corpus Petition that it almost twelve years since the detenu went to Chennai and he has not been in contact with his family. We therefore do not find any necessity to entertain this Habeas Corpus Petition at this belated stage since we are of the opinion that this Habeas Corpus Petition is only a ruse to claim property.
