For Respondent : Mr.A.P.G.Ohm Chairma Prabhu, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 379 of IPC r/w.21(4) of Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation Act,1957 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side)opposed the petition on the ground that these petitioners have illegally transported 4 units of river sand in a taurus lorry bearing Reg.No. TN 73 CA 4952. These petitioners are having bad antecedents and involved in similar offences or other crime.

3. Taking note of the bad antecedent and the quantity of mineral illegally transported, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Hence the petition stand dismissed.
