ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.296 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation in Cr.No.296 of 2015 has been completed and it has been closed as mistake of fact on 30.10.2015 and the closure report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. The respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the closure report to the counsel for the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not furnished already to the petitioner. It is for the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law.
