Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of the detenu namely Kavya, daughter of Rajendran, aged about 17 years, who is illegally detained by the third respondent and handover the custody of the detenu to the petitioner and pass such further or other orders. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Kavya, aged about 17 years, daughter of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

3. The second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Thirukkattupalli Police Station has produced the detenu.

4. It is seen from the records that the detenu has got birth on 03.04.1997. Under the said circumstances, the detenu has attained majority.

5. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous.
