O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent/Tahsildar, Sivakasi Taluk Office, Virudhunagar District, to process the patta transfer application No.133020910871432 and No.2022/00105/26/259404 dated 24.08.2022 given by the petitioner.

2. The petitioner had sought transfer of patta in her name with respect to the lands which had been settled by her mother in her favour. The lands are situated in Survey No.1166/2A1 measuring 3.99 acres of punja lands at Injar Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District. The petitioner had made an application through online and had also paid necessary charges.

3. The second respondent may issue notice to the petitioner, may examine the lands of the petitioner and issue notice to anybody else who may be directly or indirectly connected and thereafter, pass necessary orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
