Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner was employed in the respondent Corporation as Deputy Manager. His grievance is with regard to non-settlement of surrender leave salary. The issue raised in the writ petition is no longer res integra. It is squarely covered by the order dated 04.10.2021 passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A(MD)Nos.1883 to 1892 of 2021.
3.The petitioner has 25 1⁄2 days to his credit. He ought to be allowed to encash the same. The monetary equivalent may be Rs.65,130/-. It shall carry 6% interest also. The respondents are directed to settle the same to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible in any event within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
