This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Mr.S.M.A.Jinnah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's wife died and his daughter was under the custody of his mother-in-law. Since, she has not taken care of the petitioner's daughter and she is residing with the petitioner. A false complaint was given by his mother-in-law alleging that he kidnapped his own daughter. The respondent police is insisting the petitioner to hand over his daughter to his mother-in-law.

3.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner's mother-inlaw, the respondent police contacted the petitioner over phone and after ascertaining that the child was under the custody of the petitioner, the matter was closed.
