ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused No.1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 329(4), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 75, 351(3) and 49 of BNS, 2023, and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.689 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to money dispute, on 10.12.2025, the petitioner and other accused persons trespassed into the defacto complainant's house inebriated manner and attacked her and her sister brutally. The petitioner and his wife jointly threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences. Hence, the case.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court had already granted anticipatory bail on 27.02.2026, subject to the condition that the petitioner deposit a sum of Rs. 20,000/- to the credit of Crime No. 689 of 2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, Theni District, and execute sureties. Pursuant to the said order, the petitioner deposited the said amount on 11.03.2026. Accordingly, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court. He has also produced a copy of the challan before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent has no objection to allow this petition.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the interim anticipatory bail was granted by this Court and the sureties executed by the petitioner are made absolute.

7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
