The Contempt Petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnor/respondent for his willful disobedience to comply with the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.16678 of 2024 dated 01.10.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the contemnor would submit that the contemnor, after completing the investigation, has filed the charge sheet on 31.01.2025 before the jurisdictional Court and the case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.95 of 2025. He would further submit that though investigation was completed and charge sheet was made ready, they have submitted the report for getting approval from the Public Prosecutor, hence there was delay in filing the same. The reason assigned cannot be sustained. However, since the case has already taken on file, this Contempt Petition stands closed. 04.04.2025 NCC:Yes/No Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No csm
