ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of respondent police for offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 353 IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.227 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police prays for grant of anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioner, who is a councillor of Tisaiyanvilai panchayat, abused the defacto complainant, who is the Executive Officer of the said Panchayat and damaged the table glass.
3. Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.
4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that petitioner has three previous cases.
5. On consideration of the nature of the offence and bad antecedents of petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
