ORDER
Heard both sides.
2. The petitioner's application for issuance of passport has been closed. The petitioner is permitted to apply afresh before the first respondent.
3. The learned Government Advocate clarifies that there is no case pending against the petitioner. In earlier case filed against the petitioner, action has been dropped. As and when the petitioner files a fresh application, it shall be processed and the passport shall be issued to the petitioner subject to the fulfilment of other usual formalities.
4. This Writ Petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
