Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to convene a peace meeting with regard to conduct festival to the "Sri Vinayagar, Sri Muthumariamman, Sri Kaliamman" temple situated at Trichy District, Trichy East Taluk, Ariyamangalam Village, Jegannathapuram Street within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The prayer in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to convene a peace committee meeting in connection with the conduct of the temple festival of "Sri Vinayagar, Sri Muthumariamman, Sri Kaliamman" temple situated at Jegannathapuram Street, Ariyamangalam Village, Trichy East Taluk, Trichy District. 2.Pending the writ petition, the peace committee meeting was held between the parties and by an order, dated 22.05.2018, the Tahsildar, third respondent herein, had held that till a consensus https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is arrived between the parties, the temple festivals should not be conducted and the Poojas of the temple shall continue to be performed in the same way as it is being performed currently. The petitioner was also party to the peace committee meeting. 3.It view of the finding of the third respondent, it would not be appropriate to pass any orders in the present writ petition. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved, it is always open to him to challenge the same in accordance with law.

4.In the light of the above observations, no further orders is required in the present writ petition and hence, the Writ Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of the third respondent, dated 22.05.2018.
