ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to necessary action against the accused persons based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.08.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner operates a four-wheeler workshop under the name "Dhesvin Workshop" and had purchased a car worth Rs. 1,00,000/-. Additionally, some equipment valued at Rs.25,000/- was stored inside the car. On 17.08.2025, unknown individuals forcibly entered the workshop, broke the door, and stole the car, resulting in the petitioner suffering a financial loss. Despite filing a complaint with the second respondent, no action has been taken thus far. As a result, the petitioner has filed the present petition. 2/5

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), representing the respondents, submitted that the petitioner has failed to specify the value of the stolen property.

4. Considering the above, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 20.08.2025 and to conduct a proper enquiry. If any criminal offence is made out, appropriate action shall be taken against the accused persons in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent shall monitor the case being investigated by the third respondent.

5. With these observations, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of.
